Wondering What Questions Our Clients Ask Us Most Frequently? Here They Are...

Many homeowners know they have challenges in the way their home functions, and they don't know how to start improving them.  They wonder if an interior designer can do more than make their home pretty.  Can an interior designer make their home work better for their family without disrupting their lives? To shed some light on this topic, here are our most frequently asked questions and our detailed answers…

FAQ #1: What does your process look like from start to finish?

We start by meeting one another on the phone and then in person to see if we are a good fit.  I listen and observe to find your home's pain points.  Next, my team creates a comprehensive design plan, timeline and budget for your approval.  Once you decide the scope of your project based on real information, our team begins ordering, construction (when needed) and installation. Learn more details about our process here.

FAQ #2: How do I know if I need an interior designer?

If your home is not a sanctuary for you and your family, it is likely that an interior designer can help.  You may not realize the absence of a mudroom is causing everyone distress or that the marginally functioning hall bath is slowing down your family's morning routine. You can have a home that you enjoy living in exactly as you wish.

FAQ #3: How do you determine what projects are the right fit for your firm?

We want you to be satisfied with the final outcome of our work together.  Together, we expect to complete at least 2 rooms on any project.  Chances are you've already tried doing little bit here and there and you are still unhappy.

We focus our energy and your investment on finishing rooms for you so that you can enjoy fully functioning spaces.  Your total investment must be appropriate to complete the spaces you want to enhance.

FAQ #4: How much do designers charge for their services?

We charge hourly for our time.  The principal charges $250 per hour and the Senior Administrator’s rate is $105 per hour.  We purchase, store, customize and deliver furniture, fixtures, finishes and lighting to our clients and never charge more than the retail cost.

If you have additional questions we didn't answer in this post, reach out to us. We would love to chat and answer those questions!

Until next time,
Christie
